K–12 Violence Prevention, Intervention & Student Support

The 180 Program Foundation provides In-School Community Violence Intervention (CVI) services to K–12 schools across Michigan. Our work focuses on identifying students who are at high risk for violence involvement and providing timely intervention to prevent conflict from escalating.

We help schools improve safety, strengthen student support, and interrupt violence before it happens.

Certified, Qualified, and School-Based

The 180 Program Foundation team is CVI certified and specially trained to work inside school settings.

Our staff have received In-School CVI training through Force Detroit’s In-School CVI arm, Keepers Consulting, LLC—a recognized leader in violence intervention training and technical assistance.

This training equips our team to:

  • recognize warning signs early
  • identify high-risk students
  • de-escalate conflict
  • interrupt retaliation
  • provide trauma-informed support
